Week 11 Postcard Recipient: Tarshay Dickey

What an amazing student Tarshay is!
She is so responsible, sensible and respectful. She always makes good choices, and has been great at demonstrating her social skills this term.
I am so impressed with the lovely way that she treats others, and the way she conducts herself.
Keep up the good work Tarshay! You have really worked hard to earn this postcard!

Super Quiz champions

Well done to Georgia and George who are Room 12's term 1 super quiz champions.

They scored 84/100 and scored highly in every category. They did especially well to get a 10/10 on the vegetables section. I hope you eat those at home!

Buddy class hunting!

The weather today was awful, but that didn't stop Room 1 and 12 from their fun activity. Each child had hidden a special treat somewhere in the school. They had drawn a map and written a set of instructions. Then they had to pair up, swap maps, and get searching.
Room 12 were excellent role models and behaved so maturely. Well done!

Homework Week 11

Hi everyone,
Homework this week is a little different. On Thursday we will have a quiz.
There will be categories on Maths, Reading skills, famous faces, Maori, sports, science, identifying flowers, identifying fruits and vegetables and current events. The current events will be from the last two weeks.
For your homework, practice last weeks flowers, and try to learn some more.
Look at some different fruits and vegetables, and what they look like when they are picked. You might be surprised with how some of them look!
Also, watch the news, and talk to the adults at home about what is happening in the country, and who the people are that are on the news.
Remember, the more effort you put in, the better you will score!
